Get those sewing machines fired up! Do you think you have what it takes to be a National Cosplay Champ? Well, now you will have your chance!

Stan Lee’s Comikaze Expo invades the Los Angeles Convention Center this fall, October 30th-November 1st, and is promising a display of Cosplay like never before. For the first time in the convention’s history, the likes of talented men, women, and children will take it to the Hot Topic Stage to battle it out for Cosplay glory.

Don’t be intimated though; Cosplay is for everyone. If you want to compete, do it! But make sure you enter the competition fast! Since this is a full fledged competition, the number of entries per category are limited. It’s helpful to note that registration is on a first come-first served basis only and be sure to read all the rules carefully!. To enter, you must complete your online registration form, linked here. You have to have a 3-day badge for the weekend OR have a Saturday badge to be a part of the competition. Unfortunately, press and professional badge holders are not allowed to enter the competition.

The three classes for the Cosplay National Championships are:

Master Class

What qualifies you to be in the Master Class? This category is designed for the master competitor in a costume completion. Think you’ve got what it takes? The stakes are high and winner takes all for this category!

Journeyman

What qualifies you to be in the Journeyman Class? Though you may be newer to costuming, you have competed before and possibly have placed in either a Junior/Youth, or Journeyman’s categories. This category is specifically designed for those who are not ready to enter into the Master Category.

Junior/Youth

What qualifies you for the Junior/Youth Class? This category is designed to encourage those new to costuming and competitions to compete. You are not quite ready to enter the Journeyman’s or Master Categories yet.

Professionals cannot enter the Journeyman and Junior/Youth Classes.

Within each of the classes come the categories of competition. The categories are as follows:
